Hardaway constructed Belmont’s athletic and entertainment center, which comprises more than 500,000 SF with four distinct elements. The Beaman Student Life Center provides recreational venues and gathering space for student organizations. The Curb Event Center is a large arena that seats 5,000 at basketball games and 5,900 at special events. Connecting these two centers is the Maddox Grand Atrium, which is utilized for university events and provides a dramatic entry to each facility. An 836-vehicle, multi-level parking garage connects directly to the event center. Hardaway completed the project in 25 months, eight weeks ahead of the original schedule.
