Addition - Indoor Play Area
First Baptist Church of Hendersonville |
The project consisted of 22,300 SF, 15 Classroom addition
for the church preschool. Each classroom contains a
toilet room, storage cabinets, and handwashing sinks.
The addition also contains storage space, offices, a
large play space, snack area, covered drop-off canopy,
and a basement area to house all support staff and housekeeping
for the church campus. The building features load-bearing
masonry with brick exterior. Built-up roofing and EIFS
soffits complete the exterior. Interior finishes include
painted CMU walls with drywall partitions between classrooms.
The project required extensive site utility relocation
of water, gas, storm sewers, and electrical main lines.
