This renovation project covered 85,000 SF of interior space on five floors. A wide variety of special purpose areas were either created or received important upgrades. These included two operating rooms, a pharmacy, a women’s center, MRI and x-ray suites, a cardiovascular intensive care unit, central sterile supply, a radiology suite, and stepdown unit accessible patient rooms. Hardaway expanded the Medical Center’s parking capacity by adding space for 300 vehicles. Also, a porte cochere was built at two entry points which increased convenience and protection of visitors, patients, and hospital staff.
