The Major General Hugh B. Mott Tennessee National Guard Headquarters is a four-story, 129,000+ SF concrete frame building with upgraded and expanded office space for the Tennessee Army National Guard and the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA).

It is the second phase in a three phase major renovation of the Tennessee Army National Guard base on Sidco Drive in Nashville, Tennessee. The first phase was site, circulation, and parking improvements while the third phase will be the renovation of the existing Armory building whose current functions will be relocated into the new mid-rise tower.

The skin of the new building consists of beige precast concrete panels and energy efficient bronze colored storefront, curtain wall system, which allows ample light into all of the above grade office spaces. The roof consists of an Energy Star rated white TPO roof membrane system which reflects much of the sunlight back into the atmosphere instead of being absorbed into the building, saving on energy costs.

The new facility is located on the former parking lot between the existing USPFO and Armory buildings and has circulation corridors connecting to both. The project also includes renovation of approximately 20,000 SF within the existing USPFO building and the reroof of adjacent roof area of approximately 17,600 SF.
